Miami Dolphin Logo Debate, What Side Are You On?

There will always be a never-ending debate about the Miami Dolphins Logo, from the current to the past, there are some if they had their way, they would make the “Throw Back Uniforms” Permanent. So, my question is, what logo would you like to see brought back and made permanent?

The Dolphins have changed their logo 6 times, the last being in 2018 but the two biggest changes to the team logo came in 1997 & 2013. (See Above) I like every logo they have had, but if I were to choose it would be either the 1997 or 2013 logos.

I like the current logo and have no problem with them sticking with it. I don’t see much I would change. The old ones were back in the day during our time, now a new generation of young Dolphins fans are growing up with the current logo. They recognize this team with its current logo.

One of my most-read posts is The Evolution of The Miami Dolphins Logo written (4/5/22) and in It, I stated:

The throwback jerseys. For me it would be the 1974-1989 logo as my desired throwback jersey….“This current Dolphins logo looks more like a real Dolphin and from what I recall when they first made the change that the Dolphin on the new logo is in an attack mode. Thus the term “Fins Up”

As the debate continues, Dan Marino was asked about a possible logo change recently, and here was his response.

Dan Marino says he would like to see the Miami Dolphins use the throwbacks uniforms full time…Also says that he doesn’t think owner Stephen Ross will do it, and that he thinks Ross “doesn’t want to hear it anymore”.

I suspect this issue is far from over as owner Stephen Ross is 83 years old at the time of this writing, he is far into his twilight years, so when/if new owners take over you can rest assured that the logo debate will only heat up.
