It has not been officially announced but word is Dolphins owner Stephen Ross opened his checkbook and will make Vic Fangio the highest paid coordinator in the NFL and as much as Mr. Ross has had his mishaps nobody can question his desire to make the Dolphins a true contender and he will spare no expense.
It had to take a huge pay to acquire Vic Fangio because he was highly sought after by many teams according to reports. This can be great news for the Dolphins whose defense did not live up to expectations this past season while the offense was ranked 6th in total yards.
Miami has a lot of young talent on the defensive side of the ball and Fangio, who is considered one of the better defensive minds in the league will have a chance to turn this defense into a top unit in 2023.
