Tua Tagovailoa Back In Concussion Protocol

Tua Tagovailoa has been placed back into concussion protocol after reporting symptoms of concussions to team doctors Monday morning after the loss to the Packers the previous Sunday. There are photo and clips of what appears to be Tua hitting his head during a tackle in the 2nd quarter It’s not been confirmed if that is the exact cause of Tua’s symptoms, but it is widely recognized in social media as the cause.

I have concerns and feel the NFL needs to implement a rule that if a player suffers a concussion, they should be placed on I/R for the first time and a second one in the same season should be season ending NO EXCEPTIONS!

These brain injuries are serious and needs to be taken as such! The NFL have been dancing around this issue by being reactive rather than proactive when it comes to concussions, and they must protect the players from themselves.

This is very bad news for Miami who needs 1 or 2 wins to make the playoffs and if we are expecting Teddy Bridgewater or Skylar Thompson to win one or two of the last two games (Unless they play way better than their last time playing in place of Tua) we are domed!

This team has brought a great deal of excitement during Mike McDaniel’s first season and we Dolphins’ fans should be excited for year two of Mike McDaniel regardless of how this season ends.
