Miami @ Buffalo (Review)

I know there is no such thing as a moral victory, but if it were this game would fit the bill. My hope was that Miami didn’t get blown out and they represented very well in their 32- 29 loss to Buffalo. It was a very entertaining game back and forth.

Once again, I blame our Defense for this loss, if our offense puts up 29 points it should be a win. The same issues continue to persist, they can’t stop Running QB’s and it must be concluded that our DC has failed to come up with a plan to do so.

They keep giving up third and long plays and for the past three weeks have failed to get off the field and get the ball back to our offense. What magnifies this loss is the fact they lost the previous two games, playing horribly in all three phases!

As much as I do not like him, I must give much respect to Bills QB Josh Allen, he torched our defense and until we get a DC to have a better game plan against him, we will never win the division.

Miami found their run game; I just wish they had run the ball more! Raheem Mostert carried the ball 17 times but should have had 20+ touches in this game, in fact every game and had we had Wilson the duo would have gotten our offense over 200 yards rushing, the formula for winning in those elements.

Committing to the run game paid off for Miami, hopefully this will give HC Mike McDaniel reason to run the ball more because in a RPO based offense you must have defenses fear both the pass and the run and with McDaniel’s pass happy ways this team was one dimensional which made opposing defenses job easy having to just defend the pass.

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised in how our Dolphins played up in Snowy, Cold Buffalo and despite a loss they served notice to the league that they are ready to compete anywhere, anytime against anybody!
