Miami did what they were supposed to do against the Texans Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium, in what was a blowout by halftime. The second half proved how valuable one man could be as Armsted left late in the first half (due to pectoral injury) and the Texans defense was able to get hits on Tua as he was sacked 3 times.
Miami’s Defense played very well and then they went to sleep and near the end then stiffened up again. Miami’s defense pitched a shut-out in the first half and the offense looked like they were going to put up 50+ points. Then when Terron Armsted got hurt it seemed like the offense and defense had just started to implode.
Skylar Thompson was not good, he did not score on any drives he also seemed to panic and run, not looking to pass as he ran or even when he did look to pass it was a bad pass! Time to get Teddy ready for the next time we need to rely on our backup QB!
The Dolphins with this win are atop the AFC East by 1/2 game because they beat Buffalo early in the season in Miami. But that lead is slim and with the upcoming schedule being one of the toughest in the league Mami can’t afford any lapses if they want to make the playoffs and even still, they have a chance to win the division and get home field advantage in the first round depending on how they respond these next six games on their schedule.
