Miami is number 1 in total offensive yards this season with 3,422 yards produced before this Sunday’s game.
Tua Tagovailoa
- His 142.7 passer rating on third down is the highest mark in the NFL since the league began tracking passer rating by down in 1991.
- Tua became the only Dolphins QB ever throw for over 350 yards, three or more touchdowns, along with no interceptions in a single game, while also pulling off an 80 percent or better completion percentage.
- Tua is 6-0 this season when he starts and completes games
- Tua ranks 3rd in the NFL in pass completion this season with 69.9%,
- Tua’s 4 TD passes in the 4th quarter vs the Ravens tied him for the most in NFL history
- Tua’s 80.1 QBR rating in the best in the league by more than 5 points
- Had Tua played every game this year he would be number 1 in passing yards to date with 2,870 yards passing beating 2nd place Patrick Mahomes by 265 yards. (based on his average per game)
Tyreek Hill
Hill leads the league in receiving yards with 1,104 receiving yards to date, he is on pace to break the receiving yards for a single season held by Calvin Johnson who holds that record with 1,964 yards in 2012.
In fact, Hill might surpass 2000 receiving yards this season which is just amazing!
Jaylen Waddle is 5th in receiving yards this season with 812 yards just 56 yards from being in 2nd place ahead of Justin Jefferson who currently holds that spot with 867 yards receiving.
The credit for all of this starts with rookie HC Mike McDaniel and then spreads to the offensive players on the team.
You would have to go back to the Marino era to find a Miami offense this potent!
