New Miami RB Jeff Wilson is flying off the Fantasy Football free agent list faster than Tyreek Hill can run! He was traded on trade deadline day November 1st, a trade that reunited Wilson with Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel and RB Raheem Mostert from San Francisco. Wilson has rushed for 468 yards and two touchdowns this season in San Francisco.
Wilson suited up the very week he was traded and played on Nov 6th and had a very solid game 9 rushes for 51 yards and 3 receptions for 21 yards and a TD! Miami also traded struggling running back Chase Edmonds to Denver in exchange for Pro Bowl linebacker Bradley Chubb.
Head Coach Mike McDaniel wants to run the ball effective, and they thought that Chase Edmonds would do better than he did and so with him struggling as well as Miami’s rushing attack they made the call and moved on from Edmonds and now have the tandem of Kelly and Mostert moving forward and just in the Bears game alone we seen the difference between Kelly and Edmonds!
There could be no better timing to get this team’s running game on track as winter sets in and passing the ball becomes more difficult and that is when you need to rely on a run game.
