Miami Dolphins 2nd Quarter Grade: C

The jubilation of the first quarter, where Miami received an A grade based on their 3-1 record, is over, and a reality check hit Miami right in the mouth (or on Tua’s head) as the 2nd quarter rolled around.

Miami lost 2 games after losing Tua Tagovailoa to a concussion for 2-1/2 games. Since he’s been back, Miami has won its last two games. Overall, they went 2-2 in the 2nd quarter, thus the grade of C!

The Dolphins have the talent on their roster to do some damage moving forward. However, injuries have plagued this team more than usual, especially in the secondary. They have lost some key players since early on and have yet to play Byron Jones this season.

Miami made moves just before the trade deadline that can help them on both sides of the ball, so it will be interesting to see what their 3rd quarter grade will be.
