Miami Dolphins Biggest Camp Surprise?

The Mystery of Michael Deiter; where will he compete?

Drafted out of Wisconsin in 2019 Michael Deitier hung around with Miami but never really found a spot on the team. He never really caught on early and so thinking about him this offseason I drafted an article entitled Michael Deitier It’s Time To Get Off The Pot! In it I talked about how he was like the invisible man and that most people even many Dolphins fans did not have a clue who he was.

That has all changed this season as Michael Deitier has finally found a place on this team and he is now Miami Starting Center beating out free agent signee Matt Skura who was brought in to play Center and has since been one of the cuts in the final roster purge.

I can say I am PLEASENTLY surprised and happy for Michael Deitier for more than one reason, yes because he is Miami’s new starting center but he is a former Badger and I being raised in Wisconsin that is even more reason it brings immense joy that Michael Deitier has found his role on this team and I wish him nothing but the best and hopefully a few pro bowl votes down the road.
