In Brian’s latest press conference interview he highlighted various things that just reinforces that he gets it, he understands exactly how to treat his men and how to get the best out of them.
A key point is made at the 4:32 mark of this video when Flores makes the point in answer to Omar Kelly’s question on how do Flores help the young players achieve leadership.
Brian does not believe in a one size fits all approach in how to deal with his players and that is the key to getting the best out of EACH INDIVIDUAL on the roster!
This Dolphins team has undergone a major transformation in just 3 years, the team was lost in the wilderness for just over 20 years and with GM Chris Grier and HC Brian Flores’ transformation we see the team now has an identity as they are looking for players who are Smart, tough, competitive, and talented this team has formed an identity to match and it all reflects the personality of head coach Brian Flores!
I was dumbfounded when I read from one of those sports Network that somehow implied that Brian Flores would be one of the first ones to be fired in 2021 or could be one of the ones who is awarded coach of the year for his work in 2021.
One thing I can guarantee you is Brian Flores it’s not going to fired in 2021 or no time soon in fact I expect an extension to be coming sometime very soon, because even though he signed a five-year deal he’s already proven within three years that he is a keeper.
Brian Flores has brought respect back to the Dolphins organization something that’s been missing for 20 years, ever since my second favorite of all time head coach Jimmy Johnson retired, as I’ve mentioned before no one will ever take the place of Don Shula in my heart as the best Dolphins coach of all time.
Brian Flores is quickly approaching my 2nd favorite Dolphins coach of all time and will surpass Jimmy Johnson within the next year or two if things continue in the trend they are.
Brian Flores brings a Tough, Smart and disciplined approach to the game and we can finally breathe a sigh of relief and exhale because we finally got this one right and I hope he last for years to come!
The combination of our GM and HC is second to none IMO and I am totally happy with the Dolphins management.
