2022 Draft Prospects List For Miami (I Know…Way To Early)

NFL announces the 2022 NFL Draft will take place in Las Vegas

Yes, I know your heads are still spinning from all the rumors and lies in the upcoming NFL draft starting this Thursday. This draft is basically over and it’s time to turn our attention to next year’s draft, yes, we have no clue where our Dolphins will end up in next year’s draft but if things go the way I anticipate they should be picking in the lower end of the NFL draft in 2022.

I put together a list of at least 32 players that the Dolphins might be interested in in 2022.

  1. Kayvon Thibodeaux, DE/OLB, Oregon
  2. Derek Stingley, CB, LSU
  3. Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame
  4. Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan
  5. Drake Jackson, DT, USC
  6. Zion Nelson, OT, Miami
  7. Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida
  8. Sevyn Banks, CB, Ohio State
  9. George Karlaftis, DE, Purdue
  10. Brenton Cox, DE/OLB, Florida
  11. Jalen Green, CB, Texas
  12. DeMarvin Leal, DE/DT, Texas A&M
  13. Perrion Winfrey, DT, Oklahoma
  14. Bubba Bolden, S, Miami
  15. Jordan Battle, S, Alabama
  16. Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State
  17. Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
  18. Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State
  19. Christian Harris, LB, Alabama
  20. George Pickens, WR, Georgia
  21. Nolan Smith, DE, Georgia
  22. Zach Harrison, DE, Ohio State
  23. Evan Neal, G/OT, Alabama
  24. Justyn Ross, WR, Clemson
  25. Jadon Haselwood, WR, Oklahoma
  26. Jalen Wydermyer, TE, Texas A&M
  27. John Metchie Jr., WR, Alabama
  28. D.J. Dale, DT, Alabama
  29. Ventrell Miller, LB, Florida
  30. Merlin Robertson, DE, Arizona State
  31. Rasheed Walker, OT, Penn State
  32. Derion Kendrick, CB, (Transfer Portal)

The names above does not include any quarterbacks because the Dolphins hopefully will not be drafting a quarterback in 2022 as Tua’s second season might turn out to be a defining moment for him as the Dolphins starting quarterback of the future.

But I will have plenty of time to update my list should I think the Dolphins might need to look at the quarterback position again after the 2021 season.

  1. as for the draft……I accepted years ago that it’s out of my control, let the pieces come together as the team sees fit…..I can’t wait to see the posts on another site I’ll leave unnamed….its going to read like
    Waahhhh!!!!!!! they didn’t pick who I wanted….
    Waahhhh!!!!!!! I don’t like who they picked….
Waahhhh!!!!!!! I think I’m smarter than the people who do this for a living …..

  2. Kaiir Elam….nephew of Matt Elam, who my son played HS ball with at Dwyer. Matt was great in HS and played well at Florida, but just couldn’t seem to excell in the NFL. Hopefully it doesn’t run in the family.
