Miami Dolphins To Coach The Senior Bowl!

Senior Bowl - Wikipedia

And the news just keeps getting better and better as the Dolphins along with The Panthers coaches will be coaching the Senior Bowl which is a venue that the top players in college football travel to Mobile, Alabama to play for NFL coaches, with other players in the game of the year. I wanted Miami to get that opportunity last season, but this is just as good!

Teams that coach at this game get their hands-on top college prospects who are entering the upcoming NFL Draft in April and that is invaluable for any team to spend the week with Elite draft prospects from around the country that will showcase their talent and connect with coaches and decision-makers from all 32 NFL teams.

Miami will get to spend a week getting an up-close look at these young prospects by means of training and preparing them for the 2021 Senior Bowl Game that will be held on Saturday, January 30 at 2:30 PM.

HC Brian Flores said:

“The entire Dolphins organization is excited to take part in this year’s Senior Bowl,” Miami coach Brian Flores said in a statement. “In this unique run up to the draft, the Senior Bowl will be a great opportunity for our coaches and personnel department to interact with these players for a full week.”

The Dolphins have some vacancy’s on their coaching staff as former OC Chan Gailey and defensive line coach Marion Hobby are no longer with the team. Hopefully this means they will fill those roles ASAP!

You can bank on it that Miami, with all their draft capital, can really load up their draft board for 2021 especially for the latter rounds with some young players who will add both depth and competition to this roster and having their hands on these players for the Senior Bowl goes a long way in helping the Dolphins hit even bigger in the 2021 draft if they can out-do last year’s draft.
