Let This STING Hurt!

Embarrassed is the only way to say it! The Dolphins got embarrassed. I was so proud of them possibly going a complete season and not getting blown out! But that did not happen as in the last game of the season in a “Win and In” scenario they get totally blown out 56-26!

I feel Buffalo ran up the score and could have shown a little more class by just running the ball with the big lead. But they continued to pile it on and for that I hope Miami remembers that as they go into the offseason. Now I also will not fault Buffalo for doing exactly what they did because Miami’s much hyped defense laid an egg and did not do anything well from stopping the run to our much highly overpaid CB’s who got torched as well as no semblance of a pass rush! This defense is well piad and they should have done better at stopping Buffalo.

This was a team loss as much as some will throw it all on our young rookie QB (Unfairly) Miami got beat in all 3 phases of the game and out coached as well. That loss will most likely eliminate Brian Flore s from coach of the year award!

The Bills are good, and Josh Allen is worthy of consideration of for NFL MVP honors and I cannot hate on him. Many want to throw our Rookie QB under the bus and I have fellow Dolphins fans already wanting to get rid of the kid! Really?

Like it was once said you cannot make chicken salad out of chicken manure! (PG Version) The Dolphins lack sufficient weapons on offense and Tua needs more time to develop and hopefully his 2nd season will show improvement. I have already shown how Tua’s rookie season numbers are better than Josh Allen’s rookie season in almost every category!

Josh Allen’s first 300-yard game was in his 3rd year this year! He had 8 games of 300 yards passing or more this year. Tua had one 300+ yard game this season and came close 2 other times. There are signs of things to build on with Tua but it starts with getting him more talent on offense.

Look for Miami to add that talent and continue to beef up that Defense as it is obvious that some of the players on D need to be upgraded and there might be a major trade of one of our two high priced CB’s so stay tuned!

I am upset with the way this season ended but overall, I am happy with the 2020 season and feel the Dolphins rebuild is ahead of schedule!
