The Dolphins are on the rise and they have a legitimate shot to win the division and/or make the playoffs and if this month of December should find Miami playing their best ball of the season they will accomplish one if not both!
Let’s be honest when we all first looked at the Dolphins 2020 schedule none of us thought for a minute that Miami would go 3-1 against the NFC West, but they did! Even early in the season with this team being just newly formed (unlike the Bills who had a lot of the same players from last year to build from) who would have thought that Miami would keep up with Buffalo and actually lose by just 3 points? Remember the last 3 losses to Buffalo who now have a 4 game win streak against our Dolphins? (11/17/19 Buffalo 37-20, 10/20/19 Buffalo 31-21, 12/30/2018 Buffalo 42-17)
Miami have been underestimated for the past two years and still they are not getting the respect they deserve and that is why they will just have to earn it! In fact they have already earned it because at 8-4 and holding down 6th place in the AFC playoff race Miami is just 2 wins away from potentially securing a playoff berth and keeping the heat on the Bills.
You know that the Dolphins are doing good when they schedule their week 16 game against the Las Vegas Raiders (Previously TBD) on Saturday December 26th at 8:15 PM on the NFL Network.
Many folks are starting to get the picture that these Dolphins are for real this is no fluke when you turn on a Dolphins game you are going to see a good game as Miami is well coached and fully prepared each and every week.
Next year expect Miami to get on more national games due to their emergence and the global following they have.
This month is critical for Miami to step up and win and I am no longer doubting that it can happen and I am looking forward towards the rest of the season and Miami’s making the playoffs since the 2016 season when we were all fooled by the product Adam Gase put up. the difference is this Dolphins team is no longer a pretender and will soon be a perennial contender.
With the resources they have in the offseason (4 of the top 50 picks) in the draft and plenty of money to go after a top free agent or two our Dolphins are just getting started!
