Ryan Fitzpatrick should be given a contract extension. He is in his last year of his current contract with the Dolphins and his value to the team is immeasurable. No I am not advocating that Tua should sit in 2021 in fact I can see a possibility that Tua can get the nod to start sometime this season.
But that is all the more reason why Ryan Fitzpatrick should be given an extension because there is no better QB to be the backup and continued mentor to Tua and should Tua have a injury setback than Ryan can come in and still keep Miami competitive.
So yes! I am advocating that the Dolphins give Ryan Fitzpatrick an extension if he would be interested.
