Miami’s Undrafted Free Agents List Scarce

Dolphins Draft 2020 – Running Backs Under Consideration – CBS Miami

Compared to this time last year Miami’s list of UDFA’s shows how the team has progressed in just one year as the room for a lot of players like in 2019 has diminished and even though there is still time for a potential player or two to be added to the 2020 list as of the writing of this article Miami have only 9 players on their 2020 UDFA list compared to the 2019 list.

Miami Dolphins 2020 UDFA’s

  • WR Kirk Merritt
  • WR Matt Cole
  • TE Bryce Sterk
  • OL Donnell Stanley
  • OL Nick Kaltmayer
  • DT Benito Jones
  • DL Ray Lima
  • DE Tyshun Render

Miami Dolphins 2019 UDFA’s

  • Ryan Anderson, C, Wake Forrest
  • Shaq Calhoun, G, Mississippi State
  • Wesley Farnsworth, LS, Nevada
  • Terrill Hanks, LB, New Mexico State
  • Montre Hartage, DB, Northwestern
  • Dewayne Hendrix, DE, Pittsburgh
  • Tyler Horton, CB, Boise State
  • Trenton Irwin, WR, Stanford
  • Patrick Laird, RB, California
  • Jonathan Ledbetter, DE, Georgia
  • Chris Myarick, TE, Temple
  • Nik Needham, CB, UTEP
  • Rob Rolle, S, Villanova
  • Cory Thomas, DT, Mississippi State
  • Tre’ Watson, LB, Maryland
  • Preston Williams, WR, Colorado Sate
  • Stone Wilson, P, FIU

The fact that this 2020 list is half the amount of last years list is a good sign of progress for Miami’s development as openings are scarce and that says that Miami will have some quality depth as these young men battle it out to earn a role on the roster in 2020.
