Phase II Of The Rebuild Is Off To A Good Start

When you add up the total tally of both the 2020 free agency and the Draft the Dolphins have added over 20 new players to their roster in contrast to 2019 when they purged the roster that left very little talent in the rebuild. Miami has added young talent and serious competition across the board and this is just year one of restocking what they tore down last year as Miami will have 10 picks in the 2021 NFL draft.

Below is what we have added this year with our off-season moves and this  group added to the current roster will proved both depth and competition that should elevate the play of just about every player who takes advantage of their opportunity. When I added my final grades from both free agency  (Total Grade A+) and the draft (Final Grade A) you come up with a strong A Grade. I lined them up by position and it is obvious that the plan all along was about building along the offensive and defensive lines as well as taking a shot at getting our franchise QB of the future.

Final Tally: 1 QB, 1 WR, 1 DT, 1 LS, 2 CB’s, 2 RB’s, 2 S’s, 3 LB’s, 4 DE’s, 5 OL,

I consider Phase II of the rebuild a huge success as they have restocked the shelves with Meat & Potatoes players and as training camp gets going and things heat up the competition in camp will be intense and the cream will rise to the top! What’s the saying “Iron Sharpens Iron”?

Looking forward to the fireworks!!!

Fins Up!
