If the Dolphins have been looking for a Deal Maker at the QB position than the Carolina Panthers have served up the biggest deal that can be made. Miami could get the biggest steal in quite some time.
The Panthers released this statement:
“Cam has meant a lot to this organization and the Carolinas,” general manager Marty Hurney said in a statement. “Everyone saw his performances on the field. I had the privilege of seeing how hard he worked off the field, and his commitment to this team when no one was watching. He’s the ultimate competitor and it physically hurts him to lose. He willed this team to victory on many occasions and will always be considered one of the greatest players in the history of this franchise. His contributions to this team, this community and the game of football will leave a lasting impact on our organization.”
And just like that Cam Newton was released!
The surprising thing is how quiet things have been since his release as the world is dealing with the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) there are obviously more serious issues in life than the status of sports figures but in this case it is an exception as Miami has been searching for over 20 years for a gift like Newton to be available and they should jump on this once in a lifetime opportunity to finally get a TOP PROVEN QB no matter what.
All the past plans and near future plans should be scrapped and Miami should be in contact with is camp/agent and talking about making a deal. What kind of deal are we talking is most likely your question.

Looking at the list above who can argue the point that Cam Newton is a better QB than most of the ones on the list? In fact looking at this list he should easily fit between Aaron Rodgers & Jared Goff. An incentive pay based deal that gives Newton the chance to earn and even exceed their earnings should suffice.
I know Newton will be a polarizing topic for many of you and I will not assume to know the reason why anybody that is a true UNBIASED Dolphins fan would not want what is in the best interest for the team.
Miami needs to make this a reality and as the wins pile up they will be praised for making the deal to bring Cam Newton to South Florida.
