Restocking The Cupboard!

Old Mother Hubbard
Went to the Cupboard,
To give the poor Dog a bone;
When she came there,
The Cupboard was bare,
And so the poor Dog had none

Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard was not the only cupboard bare as GM Chris Grier cleaned house last season with some expected moves and some surprising moves that many at the time questioned and some will quickly bring up if they find that what GM Chris Grier is restocking the Dolphins cupboards with does not live up to expectations.

Expectations are “HIGH” because this rebuild is by far the most extreme decision ever made by the Miami Dolphins and failure is not an option. Millions of fans and the entire league will have their attention on Miami because they are hands down the talk of the 2020 off-season with more money to spend in free agency (projected over 100 million) and 14 draft picks, 6 picks in the top 70 as well and two first and second round picks in 2021.

There are no shortages of suggestions on what the Dolphins should do with all their resources. Should they trade up and pick a QB? Burrow or Tua? How about trading up and getting Chase Young? Should they stay at 5 and get the BPA? More than half the fans want the Dolphins to come away with what they perceive to be a franchise QB so anything less will be a huge let down as if it’s a given that any of these QB’s in 2020 will turn out to be a franchise QB.

The Miami Dolphin have many needs and plenty of money and room to fill those needs.

Let’s just for a moment take the QB out of the equation and focus on the rest of the roster. What are the Dolphins biggest needs?

Many of you will agree that both lines Offensive and Defensive need major upgrades and we all most likely want Miami to address both through free agency and the draft. I will list the top players in free agency and the Draft based off of Miami’s NEEDS.
